Terms of service

The agreement between Atal AI and a business using it.

What the service is

Atal AI answers questions on your website using the documents and pages you give it. It answers from your material, and when it cannot find an answer it says so rather than guessing. It is not a person, and it is not advice.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything colleagues you invite do with it. Keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think somebody else has it.

What you may not put in it

Do not upload material you have no right to use, and do not use Atal AI to break the law, to mislead people about who they are talking to, or to handle special-category data — health, biometrics, and the rest — unless we have agreed that in writing first.

Plans, credits and payment

Plans are billed monthly in advance. Each plan includes a monthly pool of reply credits; every model draws on that same pool, and a more capable model costs more credits per reply. Your current usage is always visible in the dashboard.

When the pool runs out the bot stops answering until the next month or until you move to a larger plan. Nothing is deleted, and it resumes immediately.

If a payment does not go through we will tell you, and keep telling you, before anything changes. Service is reduced and then suspended only after that. Settling the payment restores it straight away.

Cancelling

Cancel any time from the dashboard. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-months, and we do not bill you again after you cancel.

Your data stays yours

The documents you upload and the conversations your bot has remain yours. We process them to run the service and for nothing else — we do not train models on your content. You can export or delete them at any time.

Availability

We work to keep the service running and we do not promise it never stops. We depend on model providers we do not control, and when one of them is unavailable your bot may be too.

Liability

Atal AI generates text. Check anything that matters before relying on it — we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of an answer it gave. To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or does not pay, and we will tell you why.

Changes

We will email customers before these terms change in any way that matters, and the date at the top always reflects the current version.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
